  7. Hello, we introduce ourselves every other weeks. However, everytime I see you friends on the internet, it always freshes myself. My name is Kim, Sung Wan, also called Kenny. I graduated from PNU and majored English literature so I am expecting this class with Dr. Lisya. I'm also a graduate school student for English education and I was between jobs because of bankruptcy of the company that I've worked for but I got a new teaching job just 2weeks ago. What I like is driving to unchartered places and kick boxing.

  9. Hello, my friends and Dr.Seloni. My name is Kim, Hyun-woo. Call me "Ryan", if you have difficuty pronouncing Korean.:) I am familiar with my English name, because Dr.Newman and Dr.Romstedt called me so for the last four weeks. Now I'm studying English education as a "full-time job" in PNU-OSU TESOL Program. Today my "boss" changed once again, so I was really looking forward to meeting her from "Constantinople" who has a exotic family name. I don't expect her to give me good salary, but I am absolutely sure that she will give me a lot of useful knowledge about teaching four skills in English education that, I believe, contributes to raising possibility to get jobs in this field.^^ Do you remember a person who said to you first time in Korea that "you are very, very beautiful"?:-) Yes? Haha, Godd night, see you tomorrow. I am relly looking forward to next class like choosing a chocolate from the chocolate box.^^

  13. Hello everybody! I'm John. How's it going?
I'm not good at listening and speaking. Thanks to you and this TESOL program I feel my ears and mouth are getting used to English little by little. I have had special experience to teach basic English conversation with NST. I took charge of vocabulary, grammar, translation and various kinds of tests etc. while NST took charge of practicing dialog, playing games, English songs and English interviewing test etc. In my free time I usually listen to music or watch a movie at home. Sometimes I go to the mountains or to the beaches for a change. I hope you will accomplish whatever your goals in the end.

  14. I am glad to meet you, Dr. Seloni today. My name is Bo Kyong Kim and you can call me, Mobu. When I explained in class, most of them were not happy with that meaning :) but I like ‘Mobu’ because it's simple and easy to remember. I have no experience of teaching at all. I just quit my job as a merchandiser last year, and I am considering of being an English teacher. So this is quite challenging for me, and I am being interested so much about this course for learning of language teaching since I took this course. Actually I have not learnt about pedagogy in the university so in some parts I felt difficult to understand it based on it, so I need to study it beside TESOL. Even I am familiar with writing business letters but not with academic writing because there was not much opportunity of writing in English for academic purpose. So I am very interested in this session while my affective filter is being high. I am sure that I could find out so much fun of writing and reading through this course.

  15. Hello, Dr.Seloni!
It's great to see you. My name is Hee Kyung, Kim. I wonder if you'll remember the reason why I chose Abigail as my English nickname in the class.
The word that you were born in Istanbul brought back my good memories of my days in Turkey. I traveled to there for 2 weeks in 2007. Turkey has still fascinated me.
I'm an elementary school teacher. I've been interested in teaching English and I hope I can help my students enjoy learning English through this course. I also have a lovely son who is 10 months old. My mother in law looks after my baby while I'm studying and I have to bring him after the class. He made a sound meaninglessly such as "Um-ma", "A-ppa,ppa,ppa". He recognized finally that the sound "Um-ma(mom)" indicates me last month. I recorded that wonderful moment accidentally and It was amazing.

  19. Hello, everyone :-)
It's AMY, guys. How quickly time flies!!!
It's already the 3rd course of this programme. I am an undergraduate student of PNU and specialising in Child development and Family studies. As well as most University studendts, I am seeking for my future job. I used to want to be an English teacher because I enjoy learning language and teaching my sisters. Unfortunately, being a kind of lazy person, I'd had no chace to have academic knowledges of English education. When I heard your carriers, I felt that it would be a nice chance to get close for my future. Hopefully, I could get some advice from all of you.
My hobbies are Yoga and meet friends, quite wierd, though. For me, relationship between people is the most interesting and important fact in my life. If anyone come close to me, I would welcome you and very happy for it.
then see you at the classroom :-D

  21. Good Morning!
My name is Kim Min Ju and my English nickname is Sara.
I'm teaching English at a girl's high school as a substitute teacher.
Time flies! We're already in the third course of this TESOL program.
Now I think I'm a little exhausted and tired. I'm not a robust kind of person as I'm looked like(as you see I'm small, white and not energetic), so it's hard to keep my enthusiastic spirit going continuously as long as I want.
But with the help of Dr.Seloni and you guys, I hope to manage to get through my studying and accomplish as many things as I can.
