In this presentation, we are going to compare regular English class with "afterschool" First of all, we will discuss the features of regular English class and "afterschool" English class in terms of communication. Secondly, on the basis of the features, we are going to suggest the alternative role of "afterschool" English class. Through this presentation, pre-service and in-service English teachers can have some tips regarding compensating for the lack of regular English class with the features of "afterschool" English class.

One of the policies that goverment tried to do is Immersion English. In this presentation, we'll review the meaning of the Immersion English class and the positive and negative effects of it. Through our presentation, you'll know about positive and negative effects of Immersion English class and you can think of it in critical view.

So, in this session, the presenter will review differences in teaching behavior between NESTs and NNESTs, and consider handicaps and benefits of NNESTs, on a research basis as well as from experiences.
In closing, the presenter will suggest some tips about how to be an ideal teacher as NNESTs.
